OpenOffice users everywhere are getting presents a bit early this year, as the 2.1 update to the suite has been released. This update is fairly significant, bringing with it a host of new features and expanded support, along with a laundry list of fixed bugs. One of the biggest additions is expanded native support for 64bit environments, becoming increasingly more common as most desktop processors support it. And, of course, the OpenOffice suite is free.
