MySpace is on both the receiving end and the giving end of lawsuits lately, and recently has sued a spammer. In particular, the "Spam King" Scott Richter. Accusing him of using compromised MySpace accounts to send out hordes of spam, MySpace is asking for cash out of the spammer, who was already bled for $7 Million by Microsoft last year for almost the same thing.

MySpace isn't mentioning the amount they are asking for nor will Richter comment. The timing of this case could be to take some focus off the lawsuits MySpace is being targeted with, namely from angry parents of potentially exposed children.
