It's not uncommon to see adaptations of blockbuster movies make its way into video games, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to see hit TV shows beginning to get snapped up by game developers too. Back in May 2006, Ubisoft announced they'd licensed Lost from ABC Studios, and just over a year later at the Comic-Con 2007, the publisher has confirmed that a video game based on Heroes is also in the pipeline.

"With a gripping storyline and rich characters, Heroes lends itself naturally to a video game fomat," said Christian Salomon, vice president of worldwide licensing at Ubisoft. "By offering people the chance to interact directly with the show's captivating universe, there is no doubt that the game will appeal to both fans of the series and avid gamers."
The Lost game will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in the first quarter of 2008, featuring the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 in an 'untold adventure' on the mysterious island. Ubisoft hasn't released many details on the 'Heroes' game yet, including an expected release date.
