Online TV streaming service Sling TV, which was only launched earlier this year, has continued to add support for more platforms and devices. The most recent additions to the family are Amazon Fire HD and HDX tablets, and there's a bonus for those who sign up – they get a 14-day free trial.

Sling TV is already available on the Fire TV and Fire TV stick, but now people can take the service wherever they have their Amazon tablets.

The app, which has three stars after 1,743 reviews, is available for download from the Amazon Appstore on the Fire HD and HDX tablets. Once downloaded, Sling TV's library of on demand content, as well as live programming, can be streamed instantly.

Twenty dollars per month will get you channels such as ESPN, AMC, HGTV, TNT and A&E, and more channels can be bought in separate packs. For an extra $15 per month, you can have HBO as well.

To qualify for the 14-day free trial of Sling TV after downloading the app, you just have to own a Fire HDX 8.9 or 7, or a Fire HD 7 or 6.
