AMD has today launched a new set of Catalyst 15.11 Beta drivers, and this shouldn't come as a huge surprise: Call of Duty: Black Ops III is launching tomorrow on PC and consoles, and this driver includes all the necessary optimizations for the game ahead of its launch.

The 15.11 Beta drivers only include performance optimizations for Black Ops 3, as well as a handful of bug fixes. Of the more critical issues fixed in this driver, Ashes of the Singularity should no longer crash or fail to launch on Radeon 300-series cards or on cards with 2 GB of memory, while you should no longer experience driver timeout errors playing Star Wars: Battlefront.

There are still some issues remaining in these beta drivers. Users with CrossFire setups may experience flickering while playing Black Ops III in DirectX 11 mode, while there are still some reports of crashes while playing Batman: Arkham Knight.

As always, you can download the Catalyst 15.11 Beta drivers through our driver download section, or you can let the Catalyst Control Center perform an automatic update.

Also, for those eager AMD gamers out there, this new driver update isn't AMD's Radeon Software Crimson Edition, which is expected to launch later this year featuring an all new design, better usability, and new features.
