The minimalist design doesn't call attention to the keyboard, and the all-aluminum chassis is built like a tank.

The Keychron Q1 Pro is everything I want in a mechanical keyboard and opens up the premium side of the hobby to the masses. It’s expensive for a keyboard but relatively cheap for the complete package you receive, which includes a fantastic typing experience out of the box and all the tools you need if you want to get your hands dirty.

If the Q1 Pro’s hefty construction and laptop-style 75 percent layout works for you, then it has very few downsides. It feels great to type on, its connectivity and battery life are solid, it’s customizable, and it’s not exorbitantly priced. It’s a fantastic mechanical keyboard.

The Q1 Pro seamlessly adds Bluetooth to one of the best premium keyboards on the market. It’s absolutely without equal in this product category.

The Q1 Pro does hold its own as a compact, clean keyboard that offers a smooth, satisfying typing experience, and I don't think you'll be disappointed with it, but it wouldn't be my very first pick from Keychron's lineup.

The Q1 Pro isn’t a reinvention of the classic Keychron Q1 but it’s a big enough evolution that I would recommend any new buyer to choose it over the original. The improved sound, feel, and connectivity make it the best Q-series entry to date, especially if you’re willing to take the time to add a few custom mods.
