Apple MacBook Pro 14 M6

While the base MacBook Pro design is getting a bit tired, Apple’s new M6 chip gives the 14-inch MacBook even more pep in its step.

It's unclear how long Apple is going to juggle multiple MacBook Pro models, but personally I've always been a fan of the base 14-inch MacBook Pro. It's always been fast enough for most people, and it's a significant leap up from the MacBook Air thanks to its fast ProMotion MiniLED screen, active cooling and bevy of ports. The M6 MacBook Pro doesn't bring much new to the table, but it remains one of the best laptops you can buy today.

The MacBook Pro 14-inch M6 is a relatively modest update, but it still packs plenty of performance for power users. It delivers strong image quality on its sharp 14-inch display and long battery life to get you through a full day and then some. Though it costs $400 more than the previous model, it’s worth considering if you don’t want to shell out nearly $3,000 for a PROLED MacBook.

The new MacBook Pro (M6) is a rock-solid laptop that's also a little boring. It's very similar to last year's model, but with new silicon and a RAMageddon premium.
