The Gigabyte M27UP is hard to believe it exists at its asking price. This is undoubtedly the only 4K monitor you need to look at if you want to upgrade to this resolution. Its 1080p mode is great and functions perfectly, but the 4K here is the real pull with fantastic 160Hz performance, good HDR and near instant response times.

The most important differentiator for the MSI in my view is true wide gamut support with excellent Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 coverage. Rather than being restricted to ~90% DCI-P3 (if I’m being generous) with far from complete Adobe RGB coverage. This makes it more vibrant and better for work within extended colour spaces.
