Benchmarks: Far Cry 2, Aliens vs. Predator

The Radeon HD 6950 was not particularly impressive when testing with Far Cry 2 as we saw an average frame rate of just 67fps at 1920x1200. This was 12% slower than the HD 6970 and 17% slower than the GeForce GTX 570. It was also 2% faster than the Radeon HD 5870 and GeForce GTX 570 graphics cards, and lead the HD 6870 by a 12% margin.

The Radeon HD 6950 performed very well when testing with Aliens vs. Predator delivering an impressive 42fps at 1920x1200. This made it just 2% slower than the GeForce GTX 570, though it was also 13% slower than the Radeon HD 6970.

With a 17% performance increase over the HD 5870, 31% over the HD 6870, and a whopping 45% performance increase against the GeForce GTX 470, this was a superb result for the HD 6950.
