Low Spec Performance
Fortunately for those stuck with low-end hardware, the Witcher 2 scales down very well. Visually, the Low Spec preset is an obvious downgrade from the High and Ultra settings, but the graphics are still great. Even the Radeon HD 6570 rendered 31fps when playing at 1400x900, while the 6670 managed 37fps. The GTS 450 was surprisingly quick averaging 47fps, while the GTX 550 Ti was slightly faster reaching 54fps.
When cranked up to 1680x1050, Low Spec becomes a bit more demanding, but most of our budget cards managed to make the 30fps cutoff while the HD 5830 and up delivered consistently lag-free performance.
