Synthetic Performance

The Core i7-3770K provides a decent performance boost when compared to the i7-2600K in the SolidWorks test. Here it was 18% faster delivering comparable performance to that of the AMD FX series.

While we were impressed with the results found when testing with SolidWorks, we were blown away with what the Core i7-3770K delivered in Maya. Here it was 56% faster than the Core i7-2600K with 15.58fps, making it the fastest processor test. We are not quite sure why the Core i7-3770K performs so well in this test or how it was able to beat the Core i7-3960X.

The CINEBENCH R11.5 CPU test saw the Core i7-3770K provide a 17% performance increase over the i7-2600K, making it faster than the i7-3820 and FX-8150 processors.

The Core i7-3770K was notably faster than the i7-2600K in the in-built WinRAR test, with a multithreading result of 3992KB/s opposed to 3640KB/s.
