The A10-5800K provided similar performance to the Phenom II X4 980 in our Excel 2010 test, taking 12.42 seconds to complete the workload. This is a 30% performance improvement over the A8-3850, which is roughly in line with the A10-5800K's 31% frequency boost. Compared to the Core i3-3220, the A10-5800K was just 5% slower, while it was also 77% slower than the Core i5-3470.
The A10-5800K was 13% faster than the Phenom II X4 980 in our WinRAR 700MB compression test, 31% faster than the A8-3850 (again its clocked 31% higher), and 9% slower than the Core i3-3220.
The A10-5800K outperformed the Phenom II X4 980 again, this time by 4%, while it was also 39% faster than the A8-3850 and 16% quicker than the Core i3-3220.
