Hi,

Im getting a Blue Screen and the MS error report is not being very helpfull.
Here is the data in the Event Viewer and the minidump

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 80000004, parameter2 806eaac9, parameter3 95e6754c, parameter4 00000000.

Id appreciate any help trying to track this error.

Thanks in advance

Something has failed. It could be a driver. It could be a video graphics card, hard drive, memory module, CPU fan, Windows install, or just about any other component.
First, attempt to boot to SAFE MODE by pressing the <F8> key once per second just as soon as you push the on button. If it works in safe mode, you have a start. Otherwise, the error is fundamental.
Try to remove all hardware except power supply, video connection, and one memory module. Then boot to a Windows 98 floppy startup boot disk if you have a floppy drive. Then add or change components one at a time if this works and you have the floppy drive.
Otherwise, try to boot to the most simple configuration you can to see if it works. Use one memory module. If nothing, change memory module and try again.

Your problem is crashed with nt status code 80000004 and this is the symptom of hardware error. The problem maybe related to faulty m/b as it crashed at windows hal routine. Your problem is similar to this problem. Attach more minidumps here if you have.
