AMD FirePro™ professional graphics cards are designed to accelerate 3D and Server workstation applications. With full certification on the leading computer aided design (CAD), media and entertainment (M&E) and architecture/engineering/construction (AEC) applications, AMD FirePro™ is the high performance choice for graphics professionals. These release notes provide information on the AMD FirePro™ Unified Driver version 9.003.3.

Package Includes:

  • Display Driver
  • OpenCL Runtime
  • DisplayPort and HDMI audio driver
  • AMD Catalyst Pro Control Center

Note: The AMD FirePro™ Unified Driver does not support the Intel Itanium 2 processor based server platforms.

Caution: Pre-unified drivers (7.88 or older) should be un-installed before installing the AMD FirePro™ Unified Driver.

Note: When installing the AMD FirePro™ Vista driver for Windows Vista, the user must be logged on as an Administrator or have Administrator rights in order to successfully complete the installation of the AMD FirePro™ Vista driver

  • Performance improvements in Solidworks
  • Performance improvements in AutoCAD
  • Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 6.3 support
  • Windowed OpenGL quad-buffer 3D support in Windows 8
  • 10-bit color video output technology support in Windows 8

Note: Before proceeding with your driver installation we suggest you make sure you are installing the latest version available and for the appropriate model/revision and Operating System. We strongly suggest following 'readme' instructions for installing drivers when available.
