In a press release issued today, AllPeers announced they will be offering a Firefox bundle that includes their plugin software, designed to add a P2P interface to the browser. With the immense popularity of peer to peer and the stigma it has attached to it in some fashions, many are looking for ways to share with whom they want only or do it in a secure manner. AllPeers is exactly that, seeking to establish "private" file sharing networks and using the browser as the front end to do it. Essentially, it is a torrent tracker designed for more private use. They have been around for a while, and now plan to have this pre-installed Firefox bundle available, most likely to get more people interested in the project.

It is, of course, a free and open source plugin for the increasingly famous browser, and is multi-platform. You can read the full press release in the comments section.
