More Gameplay
Re-playability might be the
most important thing in a game, even more if it’s a racing
game with a limited number of tracks, most of them are
inspired in European places, I didn’t have a favorite but
overall all tracks are well designed and had those little
twists that make the racing experience much better, it’s
also obvious that the use of shortcuts and alternative ways
are present everywhere in most of the tracks.
Now, the bad side of the
picture… even though you have multiplayer as an option (that
is, LAN and modem), there is no split screen, which is no
good, definitely something really missing in this game.
Conclusion
Porsche Unleashed is a great
game, with the right balance between arcade and sims, it’s
perfect for the average PC gamer, if you have played previous
NFS games and have enjoyed them, you might want give PU a try
without doubt and if that’s not the case, still this is a
must try for any racing game fan out there.
Pros:
- Beautiful
graphics, pretty much what I expected to see from EA.
- Lots
of fun with the various race modes and tracks.
- Maybe
one of the best racing games you can get now.
Cons:
- No
two-player split screen option available.
- The
game might get boring too quickly.
