Yeah, too bad that it is marketed as a racing sim, the developer considers it so, the publisher considers it so, and the vast majority of outlets and customers as well.If you think that Gran Turismo is a racing sim, then you guys have a lot to learn. Gran Turismo is not even close to a sim, a game, sure, but a sim, not a chance.
You want the most realistic sim then its iRacing. Heck even rFactor2 is more of a sim then Gran Turismo. Might want to do a little bit better research in the future
I’m old, I know. How about the System Shock series? The first one had a remake done… it is hard, seriously creepy and you will die a lot as well.

It is on the list. What's not in the list and should be at #1 is Silent Hill 2. It was a survival horror game but it was much more than that which is why it has its legendary status. Silent Hill 2 was designed to wage psychological warfare against the user and it was armed to the teeth in that respect. Adrenaline spikes are just the tip of the iceberg with Silent Hill 2 because just the atmosphere already had your adrenaline levels raised. Then when something happened, it was more like an adrenaline explosion (along with whatever other negative mood-altering hormonal responses it was able to elicit).
That game could do more than scare you, it could scar you. I've never seen or heard of another game that I would actually refer to as psychologically dangerous like Silent Hill 2 was. Thinking about it can still give me chills to this day. No other game (or movie for that matter) can do that to me. Silent Hill 2 is in a class all by itself.
That comment was from 2021. This article was reposted for Throwback Thursday with a few games added to the list including SH2. The other new games in this update include The Persistence and Massacre at the Mirage. It is on the list.

I loved both System Shock games back in the day. I think SS2 was better, IMO, but I've got the SS remake on my wishlist, and I'll probably play it soon. I tried to get into Prey but just couldn't. It was fun for a minute, but the story didn't hold my attention like Prey from 2005. 2006? And yes, I'm well aware they are two entirely different unrelated games. I only bring it up because I happened to really be into the first one. I especially loved how they incorporated Coast to Coast with Art Bell into that game. It was entertaining and gave the game a foothold in the real world. IDK, I thought it was neat.Still say there is nothing to this day quite like playing System Shock 2 at midnight. Check out Prey if you haven't yet.
Two different games. Alien Isolation is defenetly not boring but it's also not action packed like AvP 2010.Alien Isolation was BORING.
AvP 2010 was better.
