hi guys i just downloaded xp codec pack 2.3.7.. i want to know if this software is safe from any viruses, adware, spyware..

is this safe? i've been "googling" bout it the whole night and same-old-good review i always come up to..

wat if i uninstall it..? are there bad effectS?
