  1. Any IT professional will tell you that certifications are essential for climbing the career ladder, and few carry the weight that a certification from CompTIA does. With demand surging for qualified IT security specialists, a CompTIA certification can help you get your foot in the door and with the 2018 CompTIA Security Certification Bundle, you can train to earn three for only $29.

This 3 course collection provides you with preparation materials geared toward passing the CompTIA Security+, CSA+, and CASP certification exams. Jump in, and you'll tackle key concepts, like network security and risk management as well as identifying types of threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities. You'll discover how to propose and implement solutions that map to enterprise drivers, while managing risk; and you'll learn how to engineer secure solutions across complex enterprise environments.

The 2018 CompTIA Security Certification Bundle typically retails for $999, but our readers can get it on sale for only $29, saving more than 90% off its usual price.

Interesting to see this pop up on here. I am actually enrolled into these courses already formally.

Would you recommend it for someone who has no formal training in IT?

I think having a teacher available to you is always nicer, because when you do see something in the book that isn't totally clear, you can just ask them about it. There are a ton of topics in these courses that are pretty involved and reading out of the book is not always going to be the best option. There are some good videos you can look up on www.udemy.com too. Also there is a really good channel on YouTube that goes over this stuff for free. Professor Messer on YouTube is excellent. It's all great study material.
