AMD Athlon 64 X2 with ASUS A8N-SLI?

I was reading Korrupts guide to getting a new computer, and I am looking at the MOBO (Motherboard-ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Socket 939) and CPU (AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ Manchester) that he recommended, then I noticed that the MB's specs said that the supported CPU was Athlon 64 FX/Athlon 64 and made no mention of the 64 x2... The MB has the right socket (939) but would the CPU be able to run? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, its fine. I run the same board and a 4400+ X2 and no problems at all. Actually, the chipset fan on the motherboard keeps dying on me, but that may be due to my power supply not cutting it.
