AMD prepares more price cuts on Aug 13, 2007

A missive from Bixler's boys in AMD's "North America Regional Marketing Team" to its channel partners says the firm will cut the price of some of its socket AM2, Athlon 64 X2s on August 13th.

The Athlon 64 X2 4000+, the 4200+ and the X2 4400+ will all have their prices cut.

Though trusting The Inq with stories like this can be rather dodgy, AMD appears to be in dire need of some sales right now.
