Appropriate GPU

Well apparently I bought a 570 gtx but it has architecture problems so i'll save it for a new build. I still want to game in the meantime though so what would be gpu thats affordable? My previous card was a Ge force 9800 gt by xfx idk how thats possible though aren't they two different companies?

I would get a hd 6770 or a GTX 550 TI. Those should be good enough for gaming. Depends however, what games you are going to play. Could you tell us what games?

my computer wont support a 570 why would it support a 550 I just want to play WoW and maybe DDO my budget is $35. Also how do I find out if my slot is PCI-E 1.0 or 2.0
