Did you consider going the RAID-spinner route? Then a 250 EVO for OS and favorites, and 4TB of 6G spinners at whatever RAID speeds the mobo can deliver.. -seems- like it could be pretty quick with fail protection built in.

Also, are the fans swappable? at $550 it is unreasonable to not put ultra-quiet fans in to begin with, but can a user trade them easily for quieter ones? Or is it just not possible to quietly cool a 'gaming' itx? I.e., Furmark delivers the same load as a hi-end game, or is it heavier..

This is necro big time, but I saw this case on the new build guide.

I'm pretty sure the case fans are silent and so is the PSU, but your video card may not, and you know how noisy they get as soon as you turn on a game :p

I wouldn't buy it, it might be good looking but I appreciate a case with some more drive space.
