i have purchased a Xtasy 9600 XT 256mb 8x agp video card. on the machine i first installed it into the system would freeze soon as it finished with the drive finder. after reinstalling the old card i found that i had a corrupt file i didnt have before. i returned that card figuring that the card was bad. i got the same card as a replacement and tried again. this time the machine stopped at the same spot but didnt corrupt the file. i tried the card in a different machine (amd XP3000+, 1g pc3200, 160gb), the machine booted into windows. i installed the drivers from the disk and the system crashed. now im trying to rebuild that machine. anyone have any idea why i am having this problem?
