I'm trying to install this new ATI Radeon X1300 Pro 256 MB AGP Card in my computer but once it's in and I start it up I just get colourful horizontal lines across my screen. How can I fix this?

Would help with some additional info on your OS, hardware and so on -
but I have read about similar problems caused by remaining bits and pieces of old drivers that have been installed earlier.
Is your system overclocked in any way? Make sure voltage and other settings in your BIOS are set to default as well.

check your resolutions as well, might be too much res for your monitor or vise versa.
