Hey,
I'm building a system with a ASUS V3-P5945GC Intel Socket T(LGA775) motherboard, Intel core 2 duo 3.0GHz Wolfdale processor, 4GB Transcend DDR2800 RAM, 500GB WD HDD, and a 300watt PSU.
I've been trying to install Windows Server 2003 on it, however during installation, it freezes, sometimes leaving the screen blue with black striped vertical bars. I've never seen anything like this before, and I was wondering if anyone had encountered anything similar.
I'm thinking that the PSU wattage is possibly too low? Or does this sound like and issue with the CPU overheating? Also let it be noted that I'm using the stock heatsink (eeesh, I know). Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
