I've dropped Opera on my Macs. Its just too processor intensive on my old G4s :( Firefox is about 5x worse for processor usage for some reason (might be exaggerating a bit).

So I've switched to Safari 4 Beta, and it is really nice except its pretty slow on opening new tabs :( slower than Opera or FF. But I think that is because its trying to load its fancy 'speed dial' like interface. There is probably a way to turn that off, but it hasn't bothered me enough to look into it.

Firefox for me as Internet Explorer has many bugs and easily penetrated by viruses. Though I never used Opera.

I recently read in an interview somewhere that Opera are going to be working harder on making Opera perform much better on platforms other than Windows. To the standard of the Windows version I think he may have said even

I prefer FireFox. Never tried any of the others except IE which always pissed me off because I found that I got more Viruses from IE then Firefox

Been using Opera snapshots for years, 99.915% of the time in linux (yes.. dont use windows...)
the usual bugs since ever: 100% CPU, flash plugins, lack of feature (read: sites not working has they should), keyboard keys "k" "i" "l"x2.. getting ware out, but still using it....

sadly they are making a circus out of it, introducing useless features, but still using it...

i like opera's polished ui and mouse gestures(saves time)
i also have ie but rarely use it for sites that do not support opera

opera for me, its faster than FF, good interface, has a vista/7 type aero peek of tabs, i like the bookmarking better in opera, less of a mem hog than FF. oh and don't forget opera unite!

To me safari is more user friendly.

I don't really have a preferred browser. I recently started using Opera and it runs pretty smooth. I used Firefox for a while. Firefox worked great on my Dell Laptop, but on my Eee PC 901 it stuttered and froze a lot. Opera on the other hand didn't do that, so I just made the switch to Opera Web browser. Works great and gets the job done! ja ja ja

IE8 for me. Combine with windows 7 ultimate security, ive never looked elsewhere.

I might be missing out, but never mind.

Every PC I have tried Chrome on it crash too much. Even on sites like youtube and google it crashes. Just me? I tried many Computers, FF don't crash often, but Chrome is every 10 mins.
