Cambridge Soundwords FPS2000, no bass

Hello all,

I have had this system for years now and a few months back i noticed that the bass had stopped working.
The system still turns on, the four cubes are great, the volume control still works but NO BASS.
I have opened it up and the internal fuse is fine and so I was hoping that someone in here has had some experience with this great little system and can help me out.

well do you have any internal pics? most probably you will need to do a continuity check on the speakers internal. keep an eye for things like leaked capacitor, glue that has turned brown, and burnt components.
