Can't get my display to work

Hi I hacve just restored my Mum's PC and removed the old graphics card. I replaced it with a standard VGA Card. When I turned the system on again the monitor says no signal. I have tried re-installing the old graphics card but still no signal.

Any pointers?

check all the cable connection of the monitor....try the monitor with the same cable with another PC....if it works with other pc, then probably uve damaged the graphics card slot

You may need drivers installed. They are different for each video graphics interface, and you need the ones that are standard for that VGA card, or VGA slot on the motherboard.

Tell us the brand and model of computer, or the motherboard brand and part numbers.

It should be fixable.
