There are mainly two things i would like help with for this build, i want to know if the build's parts work together and if it would work in my presario 6000 case. (i can change the case if need be)

I cant confirm that the case will fit everything but it probably will. Everything else looks good. That motherboard by default will only run the RAM at 1333mhz but getting 1600mhz RAM will give you room if you wanna try to overclock.
 
16 gigs of RAM is overkill unless you are doing video editing or graphics rendering.
 
i'm doing MASS file share and multitasking, these are constant things i do and i'm tired of waiting 6-7 hours before i can do anything else
