Connecting Printer?

Hi im having some trouble adding a printer to my computer.
The printer is on a network already and i just got this computer reinstalled. But when i add a printer on the control panel it cant even locate any printer at all on the network.
Perhaps i've dowloaded the wrong driver?
printer is a Canon Image runner IR C3220
