Control Panel "Parse error '<' at line 1"

Ok when i try 2 access control panel in category view it shows the message "Parse error '<' at line 1" twice then goes 2 the "these files are hidden" and the hyperlink saying "Show the contents of this folder". then i click it and it displays the same message twice again.
It then takes me back 2 "classic view"

Please help me thanx!
