Couldn't find NTLDR

trying to install windows xp pro on fresh pc.Couldn't find NTLDR

ok heres the situation.
i have a used computer that i am trying to install windows xp professional on. i used wipedrive to completely wipe the harddrives clean on that computer.
i burned the iso for windows xp professional with magic iso with my other computer and it says the cd is bootable.
when i start the wiped clean computer to install that windows all it says is cdboot:couldn't find NTLDR

i have no idea what to do

Why aren't you just using your (new) XP install cd to install the OS?

because i downloaded the windows xp pro iso. a friend of mine also downloaded it and it worked on his pc. i feel dumb because i wouldnt have wipe the harddrives clean if i known i was going to have a problem booting from the burned cd
