D-sub out of range error

I'm getting a D-sub out of range error on my 2nd monitor(NEC Multi Sync LCD 1860NX) when I try to activate both extended or duplicate desktop. When I plug in an old HP 17" monitor it has the same error exept its only on extended desktop, duplicate desktop works. All my restore points are gone in system restore for some reason, so I cant try that route, and Ive tried downloading the Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family drivers and it doesnt help. Oh yeah... there is a wicked vibration on the freeway @ about 85-90 mph, and it pulls to the left. ha ha!?!

LCD monitors run around 60Hz... CRT monitors are more forgiving. Make sure your computer video settings are correct for the monitor you are connecting
