Deciphering beep codes on UPS

I'm testing a Smart-UPS 3000 XLM (not XL) and when I plugged it in all the lights flash and the device makes a chirping sound periodically. It does this for a split second about every 6 seconds. What does it mean? I can't find a manual anywhere for it.
