Default Gateway Unavailable / Invalid IP Configuration

Hello, I've been having trouble with my internet. Figured I'd hop on a forum and see if someone can help me figure it out.
I was in the middle of an overwatch game, and my internet cut out on me randomly. I have only been connected with ethernet.
Running Windows Diagnostics, I get the errors "Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration and The default gateway is not available.

Steps I've taken:
1. Reset modem and computer. Computer will connect once modem finishes self-tests, but only for about 30 seconds.
2. Ipconfig /release and /renew. Command Prompt will freeze after using /renew. Does nothing to fix it.
3. Uninstalled all antiviruses. Read somewhere that MacAfee sometimes caused it. Although I only used AVG and Avast.
4. Reset windows. Didnt work, but it gave me a hella headache trying to redo all my files.
5. Reset modem to factory settings. Had to resetup my Network. All devices except my computer will connect.
6. Read multiple forums but havent been able to find a solution. Decided to post, hoping someone can help.

Recap: Computer drops default gateway after modem restarts. Can't renew ip addresses. No internet.

Thank you for any advice you can offer.

I'm using my phone, had to do a bit of file transferring. But here it is:

I changed the name of my connection from "Ethernet" to Local Area Connection this morning. Didnt seem to have an effect

One more thing that I forgot to put down in original post, I double checked my TCP/IP settings in my connection properties. Everything is set to obtain IP/DNS address automatically.

You need to disable IPv6

control->Network & Sharing
on the left, CHANGE ADAPTER SETTINGS
dbl-click on Local Area Connection
clk Properties lower left
look in the box for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
CLEAR the box [x] in front of it
clk OK, then click Close

Disconnect the PC from the router, wait 15 seconds and then plug it back in.

control->Network & Sharing should now show Internet is available
and the IPCONFIG will show your gateway address

Alright, turned it off. Seems like everything is working. You are the man Jobeard. Thank you so much. Any idea why it would have suddenly stopped working? Havent touched my IP settings since I built her a few years ago.
