Dell XPS m1530 no video?

I have totally disassembled this laptop, replaced the entire LCD, and the power inverter, still all I get when it boots is a black screen, sometimes it kind of gets darker and you can see the black image split in the middle? Although I can hit FN and LCD to an external monitor and that works fine?

Im not sure what to replace next? Could it be the LCD cable or is it most likely a bad mobo?

Are the video channels separate, the LCD from the external monitor port?


Any help would be great, as this is driving me crazy!
