Disabling USB Power After Shutdown

I just made a usb LED light for my computer's case, and as I did not have a spare molex connector to be torn apart, I decided to make it usb powered. So when I'm done, I shut down, only to find that the light is still on. Does anyone know how to disable power to the usb ports after the computer is shut down? I've looked through the bios for an option, but have not found anything promising.

I know, but for the time being, I don't have one, and I don't know when i'll have time to get one. From some searching, plenty of other people want to do something similar, but no one has seemed to get a conclusive answer. I'm kinda thinking its not even possible. Maybe i'll make my own molex connector from a trashed CD drive...

Yes I've done that
Also I find that new Video cards sometimes pop them in the box too (actually old ones )
Sometimes in old computers too
But the best place is the shop
