Hi all,

(I am sorry for my pure English)

Suddenly my computer was running very slow for an hour, and later a blue screen with Chinese letters was appear.

After that I reset my computer and a message appears DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER.

So I decided to do a format with windows xp disk. And I got a message “setup did not find any hard drives”.

I came to this forum and found some similar problems. what I read in this forum is that to unplug and plug the cables of power to hard drive and cable to motherboard.
After that my computer restarted normal. and working normally.

What is the problem? Should I buy new hard drive?

Before you buy a new harddrive run a full harddrive diagnostics. You can get a free utility from your HD manufacturer's website. This test will take time but it is well worth it, plus it is good to run this utility for maintenance from time to time.

Sometimes all it is is your cables, too.
