Hi,
I'm currently running Windows xp media center edition on my laptop. It's incompatible with some of the audio equipment I have so I want to install Windows XP pro. I don't have enough time to do a complete reinstallation so I want to install it on one of my partitions.
I have 2 partitions on my main hard drive, C and D (the laptop came this way). D is basically empty, it has 16.4 GB of free space out of 17.2, and I was going to use it for the XP pro installation.
My questions are:
1. Do I need to do anything to the D drive before the install, or can I just go for it?
2. Is 16.4 GB large enough for XP Pro?
3. Is there anything else I should know before I do this?
Thank you in advance
