Dual SATA issues

so ive sold my ic7-g and decided to play with this 64bit asus a8v deluxe.. but now im having a problem setting up dual sata drives within.. i have a 500g and a 200g .. currently the 200g is installed with windows and boots with no problem.. as long as the other 500g hdd isnt installed.. So now when they are both plugged in the computer shows nothing for hdds in the bios .. i dont understand that..... help please...

I had this board, and I'm sure you need to look in the BIOS at the RAID settings.
I don't recall the details, but the manual is readily available online.

wierd thing is on the hdd itself it says .. PUIS (power up in stanby) .. thats the jumper settings needed to get it right apparently..

I had that problem also, but you didn't mention it was SATA II.

i have like 8 hdds without a home right now.. it slipped my mind .. gimme a break..
