DVD-RW disc

Everytime when i am burning only 1 gb video from my sony dsc-hx camera via my laptop Dell Xps 1530 wtih built in DVDRW on a 4gb verbatim DVD-RW Disk -the Disk shows full My OS is VISTA Home Prfemium I have tried formatting /completly erasing the Disk
will appreciate any hep

Could be the disks, try another brand but use DVD+RW. What software are you using to burn the DVD?

You might also try to transfer the video from the camera to the PC and then from the PC to the DVD disk.
