Elon Musk tells federal employees to list 5 things they did last week or be fired – agency heads say to ignore him

At this point in this thread I would go with this old saying:
"Let's agree to disagree, regardless how wrong you are"

An expert Economist has spoken. Yet again, no evidence presented. Just conspiracy theories.

I’ve previously worked in both the Private and Public Sectors at both the State and Federal level for nearly a decade. The amount of money that is spent egregiously, especially at the federal level, cannot be overstated. I’m not saying this doesn’t also happen in the private sector (which is thankfully on any private company that decides to do this as opposed to the taxpayer), but the undeniably avaricious concept of budgeting being, “If you don’t spend the remaining funds, they’ll be seen as an unnecessary surplus and deducted from next year’s budget and every budget after that” was in literally EVERY state and federal agency I ever worked for, in every department that I serviced. And why should they care? It’s not like government actually has to make money or produce anything or compete in the market to sustain itself. They are essentially a unique and permanent MONOPOLY ON FORCE (y’all are supposed to hate monopolies, remember?) and as such, they’ll keep getting tax dollars regardless of how well or poorly they perform, since most of the time they’re never seriously scrutinized (performance evals were floated as a metric for who DOGE should fire, but those are also unsurprisingly a joke).

This is the public sector for you. Better you realize this sooner rather than later.

Anyone whining about this request should leave the country and never come back. We don't want you. you're useless and drain on the economy.

Any liberal trash attempting to argue this, I'll take a page out of your own book:
Ignore you as if you don't even exist.

There is nothing shadowy about Soros. Its a myth that has been passed around like truth by some on the right. He's no different than the Koch brothers, except he funds left-wing politics.
Soros finances everything anti-American that pops up inside or outside the US, and lots of his donations to assorted anti-American entities are concealed. That makes his activities quite shadowy.

Lmao conspiracy?

"She said that the mayor’s office recently received two payments from the federal government totaling about $81 million for immigration-related services. One of the payments was for roughly $59 million, of which $19 million was for hotel stays, as the city has had to accommodate more than 200,000 migrants who arrived there since the spring of 2022."

By your "logic" auditing the government to see where American tax payers money is going is conspiracy? That's all I need to know about you. It is absolutely mind-blowing how you completely/conveniently dismiss the fact billions of Americans tax dollars went to supporting illegal immigrants over Americans. You are too delusional to go look for the evidence because you are afraid it will destroy your false sense of reality.

Aaaand there we have it ladies and gentlemen! This is what it all boils down to for MAGA - 'iF yOu DoN't LiKe It, LeAvE tHe CoUnTrY!" Someone got tired of pretending and finally came out and said the quite part out loud.

It's always the same song and dance when it's someone else getting screwed, it never bothers them, just a "drain on the economy". But as soon as they get swept up in it, they act all pissed and surprised. Guess it just boils down to lack of empathy.

At no point are you rebutting anything I've said, you are denying it. As if the world has to prove to you, something. We do not, get over yourself, You are the one that has to prove that the DOGE website is lying to American's.
Yes, I have. I can't help that its over your head. I never said that the DOGE website is lying to Americans, lol. I said that the DOGE website isn't showing 2 Trillion in grift. (Not even close!) You can't even get that right.
These responses^ make no sense & show u did not actually read my previous post.
Just because you cannot understand it, doesn't mean my responses don't make sense.
Do you see how entitled you are, you believe (in your own mind) that you do not have to accept a story as legitimate, because it uses the word Republican In Name Only...!
It went over your head again. I was using that as an example of the Gateway Pundits heavy bias and why that makes their "journalism" garbage. I wasn't commenting on the legitimacy of that particular story. Oh, and by the way, the Gateway Pundit filed bankruptcy, lol. They were trying to get out of the defamation lawsuit they lost for false claims they made about Georgia electors. Lol. I could put further effort into showing you different examples of false or deceiving "news" on the Gateway Pundit website, but I don't think I could convince you no matter how damning the evidence is. You are an ideologue. Nothing can shake your worship of Trump and Elon. You even gave yourself away when you said I "blaspheme(d) Elon"! Trump hit the nail on the head when he said this about his ardent supporters: "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?"
The fact that you are ranting about The Gateway Pundit, shows me that you are angry by their facts and you want them to be Censored, bcz liberals don't like the truth.
More strawmen. That is all you have, isn't it? This little fantasy of yours that doesn't reflect the real world. Its so easy to dismiss any person who you think is liberal, because of your absurd mantra that "liberals don't like the truth". No effort needs to be made to justify your claims. I have no idea who most of those people in your list are, but it only took seconds of googling to debunk your claim that they were "dropping like flies...for all their lies". I am done responding to you. You either lack the ability to understand my arguments or you just flat-out refuse to.

Woah, a lot of what Alex Jones has said in the past has actually become true to an extent 😂
Yes, there are instances of totally lunacy and outright lies, but when he is called out on those he usually backtracks if he gets new information to show he is wrong.

But to say anyone lies constantly is a bit disingenuous. I think most people have true intentions of informing of their perspectives and data, some are just mislead themselves and then mislead others thinking they have the right information at that time.
Define "a lot". Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day.

Remember what W.C. Fields said?
"If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit"
From the White House to Techspot and in between, it's the way of the MAGA.

alex jones is a real winner. Given the overwhelming evidence of the sandy hook shooting he changed his mind and apologized to everyone impacted by the tragedy...oh wait he did none of that and sent one of underlings to the homes of parents who lost children demanding they reveal evidence the whole thing was a hoax and everyone was an actor. He then sent the same deepsheet to the volunteer fire dept demanding they admit to the hoax even though those people were at the scene. In a town of 20k people with about half that vote republican plus large neighboring towns & cities on all sides, jones pushed an agenda that everyone was in on a fake school shooting and got rich doing so until he lost all his court cases.

Soros finances everything anti-American that pops up inside or outside the US, and lots of his donations to assorted anti-American entities are concealed. That makes his activities quite shadowy.
If you think anything that is left of center is "anti-American" then I guess this is true. However, if some of these supposedly anti-American entities are concealed, than how do you know they exist?

Does anyone ever wonder where the money of these savings (real or not; justified or not) is going to? Will the "rightful" civilians (whoever that are) benefit from this in the form of less taxes, better housing, better education, better health services... ? Or will it result in tax cuts and other benefits for the large corporations and their shareholders? Is there a clear plan? I'm not answering. It's just questions to think about.

Me? I'm going to continue my game of Cyberpunk 2077.

That's the thing. Elon, Trump, and their ilk realize that the majority of their supporters have no idea how the federal government funds itself, how Congress handles the budget, and even the difference between discretionary and non-discretionary spending.

The reality is that DOGE is being used to convince a bunch of relatively poor poor and undereducated people in red states who get the most federal funding (and, frankly put, are in most need of it) that the savings are not only immense, but those savings are going directly to them. But they aren't. The savings are not going to hit the $2T mark, or even the $1T mark. Furthermore, those savings are going to be used as an off-set for the extension of the 2017 Trump tax cuts and other spending increases that will overwhelmingly benefit already rich individuals, families, and corporations/businesses. The notion that Trump floated of giving people a $5000 check once the savings are amassed is a laugh, because for that to happen, you're looking at over $1T if you solely restrict the checks to people over the age of 18. Given how inflationary Covid spending was, and how there's not enough WFA to amount to $1T, a direct stimulus to the American people from these supposed "savings" is never going to happen.

This is all according to plan. You don't stack your cabinet with a bunch of centimillionaires and billionaires, have the richest man in the world act brazenly and quickly to gut the federal government of civil service workers, and claim that you're going to find $2T worth of WFA (waste, fraud, and abuse) to cut when that accounts for nearly 1/3 of the annual budget in its entirety. There isn't enough discretionary spending to make those cuts, so you'd have to look at the non-discretionary items (such as Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and interest on debt). So who gets most hurt by those getting cut? Not the rich folks, not the people in Trump's cabinet, but the very same poor people in red states who gladly gave Trump their vote. So when those 2017 tax cuts get extended (costing trillions of dollars over the next 5-10 years, when Trump and his cronies will be out of office and simply won't care about what happens), and the non-discretionary social services are gutted to make room for their extensions, you're gonna have a lot of Trump voters in red states looking stuck on stupid.

Keep telling yourself this. The fact is, the only person who knows the value of their employees is their supervisor, not Musk.
Clearly no one has asked anyone what they are doing. Because if you can't answer this question in 30 seconds you likely are not needed. I'm in private sector and can answer this very easily. Also not offended to answer it. The difference is I would be proud to answer.

I don't disagree. However, would it bother you if suddenly someone from outside of your business suddenly demanded you explain what you do or face termination, at the same time not having a clue what your position entails?

Well he's been appointed by the government . Also I've been at places that have hired outside efficiency experts... same thing... But it doesn't say you will be fired if you answer. I would be more worried when you have a good answer then you are fired. But even then at will employee.

I mean, here are the big ones... Not including all the small ones that get washed away by information overload. Some of you would rather watch the news and base your reality off blatant lies...

1. Government Surveillance (NSA Spying)
 • Claim: Jones frequently warned that the U.S. government was engaging in mass surveillance of citizens.
 • Reality: The Edward Snowden leaks (2013) confirmed that the NSA was conducting widespread surveillance programs, collecting phone and internet data from millions of Americans.
2. Jeffrey Epstein & Elite Sexual Exploitation Rings
 • Claim: Jones repeatedly suggested that powerful elites were involved in secret child trafficking and sexual exploitation networks.
 • Reality: The arrest and later death of Jeffrey Epstein (2019), as well as court documents implicating high-profile figures, confirmed that an elite sex trafficking ring did exist.
3. The U.S. Government Has Experimented with Weather Modification
 • Claim: Jones has discussed government programs aimed at modifying weather.
 • Reality: Programs like Operation Popeye (Vietnam War era) and ongoing research into geoengineering and cloud seeding show that weather modification has been explored by governments.
4. Chemicals Affecting Human and Animal Biology ("Turning the Frogs Gay")
 • Claim: Jones famously ranted that chemicals in the water were "turning the frogs gay."
 • Reality: While exaggerated, studies have shown that atrazine, a common pesticide, can affect amphibian development and cause changes in their reproductive systems, including feminization and hermaphroditism in frogs.
5. The Government Has Staged False Flags (or Considered It)
 • Claim: Jones has alleged that the government conducts or stages "false flag" events to push political agendas.
 • Reality: While many of his claims are unfounded, historical documents show that Operation Northwoods (1960s) was a proposed false flag operation by the U.S. military to justify war against Cuba. However, it was never carried out.
6. Big Pharma and Opioid Epidemic
 • Claim: Jones has long accused pharmaceutical companies of corruption, covering up harmful drug effects, and pushing dangerous substances for profit.
 • Reality: The opioid crisis and lawsuits against Purdue Pharma (makers of OxyContin) proved that Big Pharma did aggressively market opioids while downplaying addiction risks.
7. Wuhan Lab Leak Theory
 • Claim: Jones was among the early voices suggesting that COVID-19 could have originated from a lab rather than a wet market.
 • Reality: While still debated, the Wuhan lab leak theory has gained credibility, with government agencies and scientists acknowledging it as a possible explanation.

And here are some more.... This is also from ChatGPT so it's going to be biased against him since they like to twist the truth a bit themselves 😂

I also used this line to get these answers - "List of Alex Jones conspiracies that have become true"

1. Governments Are Stockpiling Human DNA for Unknown Reasons
 • Claim: Jones suggested that governments and private corporations were secretly collecting and storing people's DNA for future, possibly sinister, purposes.
 • Reality: In 2019, it was revealed that companies like 23andMe and AncestryDNA had sold genetic data to pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, it was reported that the FBI and Chinese companies were interested in using DNA databases for research and surveillance.

2. The FBI Had Foreknowledge of the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing
 • Claim: Jones claimed that the FBI had prior knowledge of the 1993 WTC bombing and allowed it to happen.
 • Reality: In 1993, an FBI informant named Emad Salem revealed that he had warned the agency about the planned attack and even suggested that the FBI provide fake explosives to stop it. However, the FBI allegedly decided to let the plot unfold, resulting in the actual bombing.

3. The U.S. Government Conducted Mind-Control Experiments
 • Claim: Jones frequently talked about MKUltra, the CIA's mind control program, as proof that the government experimented on people without their consent.
 • Reality: Declassified CIA documents confirm that MKUltra was real, with experiments involving LSD, hypnosis, and psychological torture conducted on unwitting subjects from the 1950s to the 1970s. While not a new revelation, many mainstream sources initially dismissed these claims as conspiracy theories.

4. Banks and Governments Are Preparing for a Cashless Society
 • Claim: Jones warned that elites wanted to eliminate cash and move toward digital currency systems controlled by central banks.
 • Reality: Over the past few years, governments and central banks have explored Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). Countries like China have launched digital currencies (the Digital Yuan), and the Federal Reserve has openly discussed digital dollar projects, fueling concerns about financial surveillance and control.

5. Red-Light Cameras and Smart Devices Are Being Used for Surveillance
 • Claim: Jones suggested that red-light cameras, smart TVs, and voice assistants like Alexa were being used for government surveillance.
 • Reality: Documents from the Vault 7 leaks (WikiLeaks, 2017) confirmed that the CIA had hacking tools capable of turning smart TVs into listening devices. It was also revealed that Amazon, Google, and Apple smart devices were recording and storing user conversations, sometimes without consent.

6. The U.S. Government Covered Up the Dangers of Cell Phone Radiation
 • Claim: Jones suggested that exposure to cell phone radiation could be harmful and that studies proving this were being suppressed.
 • Reality: While the mainstream view is that cell phone radiation is safe at normal exposure levels, declassified U.S. military research and some scientific studies have shown potential links between RF radiation and cancer in rats. The National Toxicology Program (2018) found evidence that high exposure to 5G and RF radiation could cause tumors in animals.

7. The U.S. Ran a Secret "Havana Syndrome" Weapon Program
 • Claim: Jones suggested that the strange illnesses experienced by U.S. diplomats in Cuba were caused by directed energy weapons.
 • Reality: While still debated, reports from U.S. intelligence and scientific studies suggest that some cases of Havana Syndrome could be linked to microwave or directed energy weapons—a theory originally dismissed as paranoia.

8. Governments Have Plans for "Continuity of Government" in Case of Collapse
 • Claim: Jones has talked about top-secret government plans to maintain power during disasters, including underground bunkers for elites.
 • Reality: Programs like "REX 84" and "COG" (Continuity of Government) have been confirmed through declassified documents. There are underground bunker systems, such as Mount Weather in Virginia, designed for government officials in case of catastrophic events.

9. The FBI Plants Informants in Political and Protest Groups
 • Claim: Jones has claimed that the FBI infiltrates political organizations, protest movements, and even militia groups to entrap individuals or push certain narratives.
 • Reality: Recent revelations, including court cases, show that the FBI had undercover informants inside groups like the Proud Boys, Black Lives Matter protests, and even January 6 defendants. Similar tactics were used during the COINTELPRO era to monitor and disrupt civil rights groups.

10. Secret Military Exercises Were Used to Simulate Martial Law
 • Claim: Jones warned about government training exercises that looked like preparation for martial law in the U.S.
 • Reality: In 2015, Operation Jade Helm 15 was a real military training exercise involving special forces operating in civilian areas in Texas and other states. While officials denied any martial law plans, leaked Pentagon documents have since confirmed that military officials do train for "domestic unrest scenarios".

<snipped for brevity>
1. See COINTELPRO and FISA act of 1978. My step-mother knew she was being watched by the FBI for participating in the Civil Rights marches way back in the 60's.
2. Rich and powerful person does bad things. Bad people are everywhere, from rich to poor. Why would it be a revelation that there would be a Jeffery Epstein somewhere in the world?
3. Nothing new. The thing is, weather modification was never as effective as conspiracists seem to believe. I've seen claims that HAARP was weather modification too. It wasn't. Many conspiracies are based on poor interpretations of real science, mixed in with a bit of paranoia.
4. Jones read the study, then interpreted it as "turning frogs gay". I am sure he added something absurd like the government trying to make humans gay or something like that.
5. Jones saw evidence of false flags existing, so everything became a false flag.
6. Jones read something about Pharmaceuticals putting profits above people. I doubt he was the first to notice this.
7. There were two options for the Covid outbreak. Lab leak or natural sources. Jones picked the one that could would fit with his built-in paranoia about the government. It also helps him sell more supplements.

Like I said, stopped clock tells the right time twice a day. And give me a break on the claims of "blatant lies", because I rarely see anyone get specific with these types of claims. When I do, its never quite the lie as is claimed. Alex Jones enthusiasts swallow everything the man says, hook, line and sinker. They assume everyone else thinks like them, so of course we must believe everything the mainstream media says since we don't believe Jones - except we don't. Most news is mundane and has no impact on most peoples lives. There is zero reason to make up lies about it. When we see something unusual, most rational people take a wait and see approach. If most news outlets Right, Left and Center are saying the same thing, it's likely true.

Yes, I have. I can't help that its over your head. I never said that the DOGE website is lying to Americans, lol. I said that the DOGE website isn't showing 2 Trillion in grift. (Not even close!) You can't even get that right.

Dude, you are just trolling at this point. Your first paragraph doesn't even make sense (again) and has no contextual meaning. You are just using gibberish to take up my time, trying to spread hate on Elon and suggesting what he is doing is bad, not good.

Good luck on your Crusade..

Liberals hate facts:
If DOGE site is not lying, then what exactly have you been arguing about and why are you dismissing all the grift..?

If Stacy Abrams was so clean, all her lawfare cases wouldn't be falling apart right now and her loosing in courts... not to mention her USAID grift of $2 billion exposed.

And as much as you want to cling to Georgia Elections, etc.. here is the truth (as you are afraid to bare):

8. Little more than two weeks later, on January 2nd, 2021, Secretary Raffensperger and members of his staff had a call with President Trump and members of his team. On that call, President Trump asked about inaccurate voter records. Both Secretary Raffensperger and General Counsel Ryan Germany stated that they had fully evaluated the various claims of election irregularities and said without qualification there was no evidence to support them, including no problems with the voting records. This statement was knowingly false. Both men were well-aware of that falsity at the time.

9. True the Vote has completed a review of the voting patterns relating to those 364,541 records identified as ineligible based on permanent change of residency.
10. In Georgia’s November 2020 elections, approximately 67,284 votes were cast that should likely not have been counted because the voters’ registrations were ineligible based on permanent change of residency.

a. Out of County. 48,207 of those votes corresponded to voters who had moved to a different county within Georgia.

b. Out of State. 19,077 of those votes corresponded to voters who no longer lived in Georgia.

11. While we cannot know who voted for which candidate in those ballots that should not have been counted, we do know that the two presidential candidates were separated by only 11,779 votes. It is of great concern that the number of votes for which the address verification requirement was essentially waived in the 2020 General Election could well have been outcome-determinative.”

So please..
Instead of insisting everything is a conspiracy and a lie and complaining about things you have no clue and ignorant of (per your own admission), why not just accept reality.

When u keep asking Other community embers to jump trough endless hoops of validation, to play our your fragile fantasy... then you know they have an agenda.

Woke is dead dude.. you attempts to dismiss, obfuscate and nullify truth, will not work.

Worked for Soros how? Was he an accomplice?
Because if not, that's irrelevant. Not everyone who ever interacted with a criminal is himself a criminal.

And here are some more.... This is also from ChatGPT so it's going to be biased against him since they like to twist the truth a bit themselves 😂
ChatGPT, as with all "AI" search engines are garbage.

1. Government stockpiles DNA if you are criminal. That is the reason. I have seen no evidence that 23andME or AncestryDNA sold genetic data to pharma companies WITHOUT consent from customers. No revelations here.
2. I have found no evidence that the FBI decided to "let the plot unfold". They decided on a different course of action and blew it. This is more of a case of incompetence than malice. See Hanlon's razor.
3. MKUltra was publicly known in 1975. Jones is just digging up old news. I remember reading about it in the late 80's or early 90's in a High Times magazine. (lol)
4. Jones read some articles about and created a conspiracy about the "elites".
5. Hackers have hacking tools that can hack into Smart T.V.s, voice assistants, etc. They could probably do it before the CIA could.
6. I found no evidence that the government was suppressing or covering up cell phone studies. Besides, other countries have the capabilities to do this kind of research.
7. I have never seen anyone claim that the Havana syndrome was just paranoia. That doesn't mean someone didn't say this.
8. So? Most nations with the means do this.
9. The FBI and CIA have been doing this for at least a half century.
10. What's nefarious about training for emergency scenarios?

Jones takes bits of known facts and adds his own twist to make things sound more nefarious than they actually are. That's how he sells all his supplements. If he didn't use at least a little truth, his following would be a lot smaller. Most of your lists consisted of things I already knew about - without listening to Alex Jones. They just aren't as spooky as he makes them out to be.
