External Hard Drive Not Available

Hey,

So I'm really stupid - why? For trusting my ***** brother. I lend him my external hard drive (Western Digital 2 TB - see amazon link for model) and he did not "eject" the hard drive safely. Now it does not exist period. It doesn't show up under my computer and it also doesn't show up under computer management as a drive (so no letter duplication).

The hard drive external power source lights up (see link below)

Does it show up in Disk Management?

Control Panels, Admin tools, comp management, disk management. I think..

Tell us what happens there, screenshots work if you don't know what is going on.

If it is a simple pull the thing when you shouldn't have, then your data should be there still, but who knows how bad it is screwed up... so we need some information to work with.
