Facebook... grrr

Ok I admit to being a rookie but not totally dumb. this subject has been doing the rounds for years but its back again. Why wont Facebook open on my PC. I have it on my iPad, my iPhone and anywhere else I like but not my PC. it was working earlier today but now just a stupid white screen or if I'm lucky a bit of content but nothing I can reply to or actually look at. Ive tried everything from the other sites and post on here but nothing is working, please help!!!!
