But in fact, I actually WANT to be wrong. Because where we are going is nowhere pleasant. And it will affect us ALL, not just me. And that is what you don't seem to get. You keep portraying the ones that don't share your view as the enemy.
Then I apologize to you. Though you must know, very few like you share that sentiment.
"Preliminary data shows 99.5% of COVID-related deaths in Texas were among unvaccinated people"
Are you kidding me? It is "Preliminary data" because the pandemic is still ongoing and data is still being collected. Damn man.

Actually, the reason they themselves stated, which I already quoted, was;

"DSHS noted that these are preliminary numbers, which could change because each case must be confirmed through public health investigations."

That is data from February to July. So... Yeah.

Then I apologize to you. Though you must know, very few like you share that sentiment.
I can't presume to know what the sentiments of others are. Generally, most people think they are doing good... But as they say, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. And that rings true, now more than ever.

You guys to realize the numbers you are seeing about deaths are wrong right. They are taking the total amount of deaths since last year march. You need to start looking at the number of deaths within the last 6 months. Health care has been treating patients vaccinated and not faster and better and the death rate is very minimal for both types. Funny enough I just heard Joe Rogan talking about it in his podcast a few days ago. Don't follow the misleading media information. Look at the real numbers.

Based on all these comments. Just like I mentioned before, all it has done is create a division and hate towards the ones who have the vaccine and the ones who don't. And labeling them Trumpers and stuff haha. Yo there are so many liberals I'm friends with that refuse to take it due to lack of research and study on the vaccine. And if you look up some info, health care works are also refusing the vaccines. But sure 99.9% of people getting covid are dying.

Ok then let's take it at that. That was 10 days ago. Have the numbers changed? Are they only specific to us?

See a pattern? If not there is more. And by the way, The CDC says they are preliminary because the pandemic is still ongoing and data is still being collected. However I will say that could mean the data is also being verified so I'll tell ya what. Let's see if the numbers change in the future and we can talk about it. Right here.

In the mean time if you want something actually worth talking about from your view point do a search on "breakthrough cases." While it happened in only 3 or 4 places in the world, it is very interesting and actually worth the time. Though, it is starting to look like the problems may have been expired vaccine being used which would explain the concentrated areas.

How many times in history have you witnessed Science being proven wrong? I rest my case. People who trust blindly in science is the ones who have a problem.
If you aren’t trusting in science for pandemic-related solutions… the dark ages called, they want their plagues back.

Science is our only baseline. And if you’re worried about it being proven wrong, and using that as excuse to debate vaccines of all things; I refer you to my first paragraph.

There is freedom and then there is personal freedom. I will agree with you on freedom. But personal freedom should never be violated.
Agreed. But personal freedom is gone when they start thinking they have a right to endanger others. And I don't really mean the vaccination. The vaccination has an incredible success rate so far, so if a person wants to be anti-vax, the real danger is to themselves and their friends and families. Not the rest of us, so have at it. But if we don't get a handle on Delta soon, it will get much worse than we can imagine come fall and winter. Not to mention another possible mutation, and what if that mutation can get past the shots? I think that scenario should be called "right and truly screwed". Masking will be the least of our problems, and who caused it will again be easy to figure out.

And we also need to stop pretending that it's all science, when clearly the political aspect is a lot stronger than the science. Otherwise we wouldn't be having fact checks on the one that discovered HIV and slandering of the one that invented mRNA vaccine technology. That's not even mentioning all the other doctors out there.

😖😫😩😒
Humanity is doomed. And we deserve it.
No, the right deserves it. And it would serve America well if you were.
That is a lie. Flat out lie
Actually, it's the truth. You did it right here, and you are still doing it.
COVID-45 was all public health until the first anti-maskers started to slither out from the slime and into the public.

Here are some additional facts (sorry for that swear word trumpies.)

Compiled from the WP and CDC with breakthroughs:
"4072 vaccinated Americans (July 28th) have been hospitalized with breakthroughs out of 161,000,000 that have been vaccinated."
That is a breakthrough rate of 0.003%.
849 have died, which means breakthrough death rate is 0.0005%.

"If you are vaccinated, you have a much, much greater chance of dying from an insect sting, dog attack, car crash, drowning, sunstroke or choking on food than from COVID-45."

By the way, the pinpoint of this write-up was that Facebook, Netflix, and Google is making vaccines mandatory. Has anyone come up with a reason why that is a bad idea?

Our division had nothing to do with Trump. We were divided long before Trump ever announce he was running for office
Overall, we have been divided for decades.
Do I really have to point out that I was talking about COVID being politicized?
Did I not make myself clear that I was talking about the pandemic when I said
"It should never have been more than a public health issue." and the subject was COVID-45?

Actually its not and you know it
Very trumpian of you. What I know is when something is bullshit?

You are the one that can't shut up about Trump. You was talking about how you think it was Trumpian that made it political. And now you are labeling me Trumpian. This conversation is over. That is until you loose your bias and shut up about Trump.

You do realize that would mean you people don't get to talk about the Clinton's, Obama's and Jimmy Carter? But so long as trump remains an admitted candidate for 2024, and he is still holding his pep rally play dates, you better get used to hearing his name a lot more.

Leave though. Quitting is the one thing trumpers do better than anyone else.

That is not what I did. And you showed your bias again.

Since you accused me, OK here goes. We disagree on covid, so naturally that makes you a Biden reject.
That makes me a Biden realist. But realism is a foreign concept to you, I'm sure. Your lost boy opinions line up directly with trump. My opinions line me up with Biden, yes. Also with the CDC, Johns Hopkins, European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control and hospitals word wide. You will never convince anyone that speaking from the facts is a bad thing. Try though you will.

I also have things I disagree with Biden on. You want to give hugs and kisses to trumps words, no matter how disjointed and removed from the truth.
