Far Cry 2 Startup problem

Hi,
I have recently bought Far Cry 2 and played it for a while (45 Minutes), i was using an hdmi TV to play the game , however , durimg the game i removed the hdmi and switched to my 22 Inch VGA Monitor , as soon as i switched cables the game crashed . And never loaded again , I have always used the 22 Inch monitor rto play high Quality games like COD 6 and HAWX with no problem at all , my system specs are the followimg :

- 9600GT 1 Gig GPU
-4 GB Ram
-Quad 4*2,33 Q8200
...

Any help ?

Did you pull the cable without shutting down the PC first? Perhaps some game files were corrupted. I would uninstall the game and reinstall it and see what happens.

Game uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same problem.

What happens when you double click on the game executable file?
