Hello,

I used nLite to create an Windows server 2003 disc that had the SATA drivers
included.I have installed Windows server 2003 that had the above drivers by
deleting the already existing Windows vista operating system on Acer Aspire
AM5641. But when I was installing, it skipped the following
files.............cmnicfg.xml, ipcfg.xxml, osinfo.xml, potscfg.xml,
pppcfg.xml,
xmlp_bdg.xdr, xmlp_bec.xdr, xmlp_beu.xdr, xmlp_ecp.xdrxmlp_ecu.xdr,
xmlp_fcd.xdr, xmlp_fcw.xdr, xmlp_hlp.xdr, xmlp_loc.xdr, xmlp_mas.xdr,
xmlp_mcc.xdr, xmlp_mcu.xdr,xmlp_mpc.xdr. I want to install SAP R/3 on Win
server 2003. Will I face any problems in future..as some files are skipped
when installing.

Thanks for the reply.

Just run sfc /scannow (copy and paste that into run, or command prompt  )
You will need your Windows server 2003 CD (maybe)

Also confirm all backups are complete (even though it's just a standard Windows command, sometimes installed personal firewalls and Antivirus softwares can cause issues during the scan)

Thanks for the reply..I did run the above command....It verified that all protected windows files are intact and in their original versions.......ran successfully with out any problems. Can I know if it doesn't run successfully, what errors will be raised and are the above skipped files are unnecessary for the OS?. Shall I start installing SAP now? .
