Good hard drive suggestions?

My hard drive is out of work, i have to get a new one instead of the old one,do you have a good idea?
In my daily life, i often playing games, my friend suggest me go for this 1TB Western Digital Elements External USB 2.0 Hard Drive ,what do you think about it ?Has anyone used it?I need your advice .

You're showing an external drive as a proposed purchase.

I can't really tell if you're trying to replace a broken internal (system) drive. If this is what you're trying to do, then that WD external hard drive is not for you
