Google could be dismantling ad-blockers in Chrome extensions update

I cannot believe with all the information out there about Google spying that anyone uses Chrome anymore, doing that is as stupid as using Safari.

No different than owning a cell phone - regardless of precautions you think you're taking, you're constantly tracked. By your logic, anyone using a cell phone is stupid for using one.

I'm not sure there is really a way to prevent any company out there from having access to some kind of your personal information; be it browsing habits to your physical location as you carry your cell phone with you or you wear your personal smartwatch.

Either you learn to get past that feeling of being watched all the time or you literally need to fall off the grid by removing anything digital that you do, which includes having your name on bills for such things as power and water. You'd have to be completely reliant on living off the land with zero ties to anything.

Edge will probably replace chrome once this happens as I cannot see them doing the same thing.
Edge is chromium and will therefore also be breaking, switching from Chrome to Edge after the update is like switching from a car without seatbelts to another car without seatbelts.

This is why I can't understand people who don't use Firefox. Firefox is the only browser left that is 100% immune to the whims of Google.
